Chapter nine

The initial awkwardness of waking up with Jak cuddled against him was over quickly. The Spargan prince was back to his old self. The even breathes across Daxter’s neck led him to believe that Jak was still asleep and he was happy for it to stay that way. It couldn’t have been more than a few hours since they’d fallen asleep, if the sunlight coming though the arched doorway was anything to go by. Daxter hugged the arm Jak was laying on tighter around the blonde. It was nice, waking up like this. Much better than the early morning wake up and train routine. Speaking of which, he really should get back into that.

Chapter eight

“Ggrrrrrrrrrrrrrr-rrrrrrr”

Daxter twitched and snuggled deeper into the pillow he’d looted for himself. His body was determined to keep him in the first proper sleep he’d gotten in days.

“Snaaaaaaa-aaaaaaarrrrrrr-rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr—”

The air was getting hot. The heat was radiating in waves against his back, slowly becoming more uncomfortable and contrasting too much with the cooler morning air. Finally, under his body’s protest, he shifted up onto his elbows and beadily looked around.

Since his bitch-fit in the rafters, Daxter spent a lot of time over the next few days in high places. Keeping to the rooftops in Spargus was like walking a whole different world. Quiet, alone and free. But he didn’t feel free. The key Jak had given him unlocked the collar and he almost threw it away but ended up holding onto it instead. A plan was slowly forming in his mind and the collar might prove to be useful. So for the time being, it hung from a belt loop on his pants. None too gently, Daxter was shoved onto the platform before a crowd. Turns out he was in a market place within the walls of Spargus. A place where people from Haven, Kras and every surrounding village came to trade anything and everything. Shackled with a heavy chain that ran from his collar to his wrists and further down to his ankles, Daxter was in no mood to deal with anyone. Kor was pacing around him, spewing some garbage to the crowd in an effort to sell Daxter off as quickly as possible. Chapter three

The day was hot. The cool afternoon winds that usually blew about this time of day where being murdered by the wastelands incessant need to kill off everything. Even in the shade of his Dune Raider, Daxter could feel the heat press against him like the fist of an angry god.

Daxter let out a disgruntled sigh and thumped his head against the car’s roll cage. It didn’t help with the heat or his boredom but it did serve to remind him of his headwear. The headwear, goggles if you could call them that, were a delicate piece and most defiantly not meant to be hit against solid metal. my opinion on character hatingwarning contains spoilers on certain shows.....
....my personal opinion on hating certain characters from shows in fandoms..i find it weird that integra has haters and seras has haters and pip has haters also my opinion on hating the characters from hellsing well i dont pay much mind to it i just ignore it..i mean i remember back when i was 14 i was a huge sasuke fan and i hated the sasuke haters for hating him and i was once really immature and i used to hate itachi......But now i simply cant stand that ninja duck butt sas-uke character......i can see why the haters hated him and now i like itachi..now back to hating characters......hey in fandoms you have to have haters who hate one of the characters..ok in gorillaz there is paula cracker she cheated on 2d for murdoc and some fans of gorillaz hated her for hurting 2d`s trust and feelings... honestly i dont hate paula i used to but not anymore..i think she is misunderstood i mean i think murdoc should get the blame..dont get me wrongmy opinion on character hating by ~tea78iscool

Chapter one

A red-haired youth strolled confidently down a hallway located in the east wing of what was once a great fort. Today it held only the fading memory of what it once was as each passing year brought it closer and closer to ruin. But the young man who ghosted these halls held no concern for the crumbling stone that made up his home. Instead he was focused on returning to his room where every possession he’d ever gained, lay locked behind a heavy door.

It was a good day; sore as she was, the ring was finally in the right place, and Keiran was done with the tinkering. He'd smiled at her; after a single kiss in his makeshift garage, she feels like they've solidified some kind of connection that was waiting to come together.

And then, of course, Jak pushed a button she shouldn't have.

Which is when everything goes to hell.

They land hard, and Daxter's first instinct is, of course, to complain.

Felt HumanDaxter was usually loud, often shouting or getting into a argument with someone in the underground so when Jak entered the quarters from having a private conversation, he was surprised to hear the lack of sound. The others had noticed it too but were reluctant to comment on it, instead continuing on with their duties. Jak's eyes scanned the room, looking for a trace of his orange friend when they found themselves on a small ball under the quilts on the bed the underground had so kindly allowed him to use.

"Daxter?" He called quietly, earning a small quiver from the lump under the quilts. This was wrong. It just felt wrong.
