One- Razer
I was sitting at a long wooden table, playing with my knife. Swinging it backwards and forwards. Backwards. Forwards. Backwards. Forwards. I stared at it, pondering. I had lost much. Too much. Backwards. Forwards. Backwards. Forwards. Mizo was dead, I didn't have that pressure anymore. But Jak was alive, no, he had to be taken care of. Soon. Backwards. Forwards. Backwards. Forwards. The room was dark. That suited me. I didn't particurly like the sun. I slipped my knife away, it would be sometime until it was needed. I took out my lighter and cigarettes, picked one and lit it. The flame from the lighter threw a glare around the room, illumunating several gleaming golden trophies, sitting in a case in front of me. I put the lighter down and inhaled deeply, sighing as the smoke escaped my lips. There was still much to be done... A door behind me was thrown open, spilling bright light into the room. Shiv walked in, pulling a struggling man behind him. Shiv pulled him toward me and dumped him at my feet. 'How dare you?!?' he shrieked, 'get me up this instant!' I looked down on him with contempt. 'Be silent, or,' I added 'do you want Shiv's assistance?' Shiv smiled, cracking his knuckles threatningly. The man fell silent. He looked up at me and, pointing at the cases behind him, whispered fearfully, 'This belongs to me, I inherit it.' I continued to look at him, my anger threatening to overcome me. I remembered, very clearly, that I had once been where he was lying now. I had failed Mizo, and he had me in that very position. I felt an odd emotion. Was it pity? No, I had to be merciless. I tossed my cigarette into an ashtray.
'This is mine,' he repeated, his voice rising slightly, 'mine.'
'Oh, really?' I replied maliciously, 'but ze rest of family? Don't zey inherit?'
'They're dead!' he shrieked, then he fell forwards, shaking slightly. I tore my gaze from him, disgusted. I stared at the trophies. All of them had Mizo's name engraved upon them. They were mine, I had won them, all of them... ''Old 'im Shiv,' I said quietly. 'No, No!' the man cried, struggling as Shiv forced his arms behind his back. 'It's mine, mine...' I still didn't look at him. 'Maybe now,' I said softly, 'but not for long.' I drew out my knife and twirled it in my hand, watching how it caught the light. I finally looked back at him, then to Shiv, saying 'I want to see his eyes.' Shiv looked unnerved, but dragged his face up, so it was in my full view. I could see him shaking and he murmured 'You killed them all, didn't you?'
I smiled, 'Well, now you will join zem, won't you?' There was a flash as I slashed him and something in the depths of his eyes vanished. He fell, face first, onto the floor, blood pouring from his chest. I drew myself up to full hieght. 'Shiv,' I said silkily, 'move him, his getting blood on the carpet.' Shiv pulled him out of the room, shutting the door behind him. It was dark again. Just how I liked it.
